If your fixed rate mortgage is coming to an end, don't wait until 4 weeks before it does, get the ball rolling about 10 weeks before.

UK Debt Fears Worse in South

Alarming research by Debt Management specialists DCM Money Solutions indicates people in the southern half of the UK are expecting their financial position to be much worse.

A huge 63% of people expect their position to be slightly or much worse with only 18% expecting no change.

People in the midlands and north of the UK were a little more optimistic with figures of 55% expecting a worsening and 22% expecting no change.

This ongoing poll has been conducted over the last 4 months.
